ROKD exists because hybrid sport had no neutral place to keep score.
Where it started
The CrossFit Open gave ordinary athletes a standing that meant something: a number you could put next to everyone else in the world. Hybrid racing grew fast and never built the equivalent. Simulators ran every weekend and counted for nothing.
Neutral on purpose
ROKD is not owned by a race organisation and does not favour one. It belongs to the athletes who race and the gyms that run the sessions. Formats come and go; the rank stays with you.
The name
ROKD. As in “rocked.” Destroyed a race. Smashed a sim. Buried a PB.
